mahosirena
so i'm used to working with horse pictures and i did this about a month ago, it was originally for a RPG site, but i think i'm going to end up printing it and just giving it to my niece(she was named after the song). it was my first time working with fire, so it looks like crap, and i got mad and cut off a hind hoof(i have anger issues) xD anyways, tell me what you guys think. Die Lorelei it looks a lot better when you can't notice all the little screw-ups: [/bads]
Ouchy
I don't like it because I'm not into horses. It sort of seems like it was slapped together. Unicorns on the other hand... :twss: My relaxation method involves a bottle of lotion, beautiful women, and partial nudity. Yes I get massages. Sam
Looks really good to me, the the horses neck seems unnatural. 2257AD.TUMBLR.COM
Nadril
Horse is much too blurry.
mahosirena
:o lol, i LOVE horses, and yes.. it was slapped together, i did it all in about an hour. making unicorns is a pain in the butt, i hate making them but THIS one is fairly decent. the neck has to do with the breeds and the way their body is built, most horses have different sized necks depending on their breed(i.e. quarter horses have short and thick necks and thoroughbreds have long and slender necks). edit:: but the neck does seem a little straight now that i look at it.. i see what you mean now. there is a blueish coloured layer over the horse which makes him look blurrier than he is, and i smudged him a bit too much as i do most of my pictures -.- i get carried away with the smudge brush.. xD [/bads]
pryomancer
It looks pretty nice, but it's very washed out. It looks like you've put a layer of 30% grey on top of everything. I assume you're using Photoshop? If so, add a levels adjustment layer, that should make it look better. Also try one with brightness/contrast as well, if it will make it better. mahosirena
lol, there is a greyish blueish layer on top of it at 30% xD i was going for the 'vintage' effect but apperantly it didn't work, hahaha. and i use Paint Shop ProX, i would totally re-do some of the stuff but i recently reformatted my computer and didn't save anything due to a virus. thanks though. Pft I was going to say that :P But I agree.. way too washed out :( I'd love to see it without the 30% grey/blue layer? - 99 fletching | 99 thieving | 99 construction | 99 herblore | 99 smithing | 99 woodcutting - - 99 runecrafting - 99 prayer - 125 combat - 95 farming - - Blog - DeviantART - Book Reviews & Blog
