Dizzle229
I didn't put this in Tech and Computers because I think this is more of a Steam thing than the game itself. Whenever I try to start Gmod, it says "Preparing to launch Garry's Mod", then shows me this. That bar loads in a few seconds, and then thats it. Nothing happens. This has been happening for a few days now. Thanks in advance for any help. Get back here so I can rub your butt.
Orpheus
Gmod doesn't like Vista, last I checked. Do you have XP installed by any chance? I was going to eat hot dogs for dinner tonight. I think I will settle for cereal. OPEN WIDE HERE COMES THE HELICOPTER.

Dizzle229
All I can think of is redownloading, and I'm reluctant considering that with all my mods my gmod folder is 9 GB. Get back here so I can rub your butt.
limpbizkit
Could be all them god damn mods you know. And it has prob been recently updated and like alot of things gmod does not like vista and dx 10. Probably because it was made with dx9 in mind. But then again I could be wrong. Dizzle229
I'm deleting mods that didn't work and if space is the problem I think I found out what it was. For reasons I'll never understand, the whole [bleep]ing Left 4 Dead folder was in there! Edit: I'm deleting Gmod, then reinstalling it. I've made an emergency backup folder, and I'm filling it with all the mods that need to be kept (think of Noah's Ark). I have my fingers crossed. Edit Edit: Worked :P Get back here so I can rub your butt.
