What does it take to become a hot topic?

Very viewed, as well as an actually interesting topic. Don't post just for it to become a hot topic.

ok just wondering.

Its between 70-80 posts i think.

 

 

 

Its just the post count.

a "hot" topic is really a hot topic :lol: its hot. in a pretty short amount of time it gathered many views and responses and it is pretty interesting.

Go to the off-topic fourm and you'll see hot topics only have 4+ pages. There is no 5+ non-hot topic thread. A thread becomes a hot-topic between page 4 and 5 somewhere.

 

 

 

Edit: I think when a thread gets its 75th post it becomes a "Hot Topic"

Im not 100% on what he meant i just forgot about those hot-topics.

 

 

 

Usually the Hot Topic (the one on the forum main page) is a topic that tip.it thinks will spark interest and provide an interesting read.

this thread can be a hot topic but a general discussion hot topic is rare
