A couple of f2p questions.

I am 39 smithing and need 50, so simply, what is a good cost effective way to 50? Other than steel bars and silver.

I am 50 ranged and I have no idea where to train it, so any suggestions?

What is better for training iron or bronze arrows?

Thank you very much.

There is no cheap fast way to train smithing at all. I personally did it on my other account until level 50 using steel bars, and never will again. Ranged is *pretty much*(it sill has its uses, but I think it is much weaker than melee) useless in F2P. If you haven't already, try iron arrows at minotaurs... slow exp, but sadly one of the better ways.

1) With steel bars you profit.

2) Hill giants, minotaurs, moss giants, fleshies.

3) Iron if you're picking up, bronze if you're not.

1) With steel bars you profit. By this I assume you mean buying the materials, smelting the bars, and then selling the bars?

Kill minotaurs at SoS for iron arrows, use iron arrows on them for ranging experience and delicious irony.

Note that except for smelting bars, anything you do will lose money at smithing. The best way would probably be rings of forging + iron. Mine the oars at Varrock East, craft/enchant the rings if you can, otherwise buy them for about 1.1k each, and make plates to alch to recoup some of your losses.

Rings of smelting are p2p. He is f2p.

Stick with steel bars. That's really the only reasonable way to get smithing up. Even though the xp is terrible...

I has herd, that lesser demons, MAY or may not, drop tormented demons. \:D/  :x :D :o  :? 8-)

Due to a typo, I am now stuck with 1k dragon darts and no buyer. Can I has bail out from tip.it plox?

Steel bars are slow but since you are looking for a cheap method of raising smithing they are the way to go. You'll actually profit from them rather than lose money.

Sounds interesting, but these days how many people really speak Pirate?
