Beating and Completing a game - The difference.

So, what do you think the difference between beating and completing a game is.

 

 

 

As for me, beating a game is just beating it. Completing it is getting all the secrets, weapons, levels, armour, vehicles, and so on.

well for example in GTA: IV, finishing all the story missions and all the sub missions is beating it and finishing all of the extras like the hidden packages and stunt jumps, getting every achievement / trophy and getting 100% is completing it

Yea, beating a game is just beating the story. Completing is 100%. Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts for instance. Beating it is just beating Grunty at the end. Completing is getting every jiggy, every jinjo token, every vehicle part.

same for me. Completing a game is what a barely do haha. I just keep creating new profiles. Except Kingdom hearts. I'll complete those first before anything.

which takes about 3 days of no-lifing ( i was obsessed then) :lol:

 

 

 

For me, i've finished Final Fantasy 12 over and over but im still collecting the Ultimate Weapons for each catagory (eg: Guns, 2H, poles, etc)
