ROW v.s. Archer Ring?

Ok so here it goes...I have an archer ring and a ROW. I am currently going for 99 range. I want to train range with slayer till 95.(Currently 86 range and 71 slayer) Should I switch the rings on certain tasks? Or just sell the archer ring?I don't think +4 range attack bonus is worth 700k =/ Or is it really worth it?

 

 

 

PS. if you can answer this question please do :P I want to know what tasks i should block. I only have 156 quest points =/ And I just got greaters...I don't like them :x

Anyway, if you have it, and have spare money anyway, use it on tasks that have no good drops, or ones you want to go fast.

 

There arent many though so I suggest ROW on many many tasks. :thumbup:

I use this for most tasks: zammy book(filled) Acrher helm, Archer Ring, Black d'hide legs, body and vambraces, Fury, Rune c'bow, Broad bolts, and Snakeskin boots.

God coif, +1 better than an archer helm and only like 10k more

Archers ring is only worth it with void imo. other wise the +4 range bonus is not at all noticeable

Ranger ring i just use when i do mini games...

 

Slayer without RoW = sad, believe me :thumbup:

Only tasks worth wealthing on slayer are abyssals, abberants and wyverns. Ive logged enough hours of slayer with and without ring on each task to see the difference ;). maybe dark beasts as well I guess.

I get almost the exact same loot with and without loot on almsot all tasks. Archers ring boots my accuracy which is more worth it to me when wearing void except at abyssals I use wealth

I did slayer without RoW and most of drops are coins...really hard getting runes/arrows/armors.

It's bee tested. ROW will up your chances of a rare drop approx. 5%, equally reducing your chances of a non-rare drop by 5%. So you won't be able to tell a difference in your drops, but careful recording would show that your getting rare drops about 5% more frequently. It does NOTHING to coin vs. rune vs. arrow drops etc. as long as they are not rare.
