Hobgoblinpie
1. Good luck buying them on the G.E. They are only worth it if you pk. They aren't good for training, so it would be a waste of money. 2. You need to do Swan Song to get access to it. POH Agility Course, Please Support! ultimatballr
Hey,i was wondering guys, 1-Is it worth buying dragon claws?they are about 3Million GP atm or so,i can afford, but are they worth? You wont get them for 3m (through G.E. I assume) unless you are really lucky. They cost something like 50m through person to person trades called junk trading. If you do not know what junk trading is I will explain below. 2-Can i reach Piscatories fishing colony without completing any quest? thank you! You need to complete Swan Song to get into the fishing colony. So no. Junk Trades: Junk trading is using other items to boost the price of a specific item past that of the G.E. price. Junk items are usually items that would not sell on G.E. but have a decent price. For example, rune javelins, they are impossible to sell because no one buys them, so they are considered junk. Dragon claws cost 3m in the G.E. but with junk a player could sell them for 50m due to the high demand. Here is an example of a junk trade: Player A has dragon claws. Player B wants to buy them. Player A puts up his dragon claws + junk in the trade screen which equals a total of 50m. Player B then puts up the 50m and buys the dragon claws. Simple as that. Apparently, my signature was to big. eias
I'd take the 3Mil if that means not to screw the economy for others.
Kellis
I'd take the 3Mil if that means not to screw the economy for others. You're in the definite minority then. Most people would love the opportunity to take the junk items in their bank (like unstrung bows, summoning scrolls, etc.) and turn them into tons of money. And it doesn't screw up the economy; the demand is higher than the GE price can rise, so people use junk trades to match that very high demand. So that means that if i try to buy the claws right now from G.E it the price of about 3-4M nobody is going to sell it?and why does junk trading affects the item itself? Yeah, you may eventually get one, but it will take a while; at least a week or two. And junk trading doesn't affect GE price because no one's buying or selling on GE. It causes the GE prices to rise, but because of trade maximums imposed they're never going to rise all the way up to the street price, which fluctuates too rapidly to be followed by the GE anyway. gun_hippy
You won't get off the ge, unless you get your offer in within a minute of the price changing, in which case theres a VERY small possibility you MIGHt, just possibly. Junk trades are bad for the economy, but they're necessay, since jagex won't fix the GE. You need the quest to access it has been said, but you can use all of the hunter area underneath with no problems. If you really want claws, junk trade. If you are not too fussed, wait until the ge matches their worth (chances are they'll crash at some point, wether it be via a nerf or just the way things go with junk traded items). I'm not REALLY that interested on them,i'd rather have a whip actually, what made me interested was its spec, tho i seen that it only gives 56 Str bonus,so i guess nevermind. The claws are only good for PvP, not for monster fighting. Whip is far better. It's ONLY good on the specials, which are used to quickly downing a player, but since you fight many monsters, they're not very useful.
