acenator Posted December 29, 2008 Share Posted December 29, 2008 If you can afford it, smelting gold bars with gold gauntlets (from the family crest quest) is the fastest exp. A way to make a little money off smithing, though is to make mith bolts at the blast furnace (you might have to feather them to get them to sell, though). kdb148 Posted December 29, 2008 Share Posted December 29, 2008 For speed and relative cheapness, smelt and bank mith bars at the blast furnace until level 68. Make plates once you hit 68 to get to level 70. Your losses upon alching the plates will be around 1 gp per XP. Alternatively, you can make mith bolts there.
