December 31, 200817 yr They melee but their attack is magic based (Melee ranged magic - Protect from melee) wear dhide if you don't pray, proselyte if you pray protect from melee. EDIT: The guy under me is right :thumbup: :thumbsup: :thumbup:
December 31, 200817 yr The best thing for mighty banshees is just to wear good prayer boosting armor and pray melee. Don't worry about the cost of pots; you'll make it back with the pure ess drops.
January 1, 200917 yr if you dont care about speed you can always safespot them w\ range theres many safespots throughout cave just find one you like.
January 1, 200917 yr Nearly everybody pray tanks them. I personally however, go for high mage def and pineapple pizzas. Yes, it takes 3 trips or so per task, but there's a tele not 15 seconds run away so >_O cheaper, and you're not juggling herb drops.
January 1, 200917 yr I wear karil, bring bunyip pouches and use a sgs. I tank them when I have high health and prayer flick melee when my health is low. My sgs restores my prayer, if you do not have one, one prayer potion is enough and about 15 monks are fine for the bunyip. But this is only you want to prayer flick. January 1, 200917 yr Ranging is hard until their aggro is off >.>. Use safespots :| I find ranging them much better (or easier persay) I did type up a guide on these idk where it went though. :wall: noob only melee slayers ZOMG I dont need a siggy no moar.

Take basic ranging gear, whatever you usually use, but don't forget the Masked Earmuff/Slayer Helm. ~It's Super Effective! January 1, 200917 yr Oh and I may add that almost every safespot in the mighty banshee area is one step into melee, where only ONE banshee actually attacks you, so I guess praying isnt really necessary. I havent melee'd these guys properly yet, i like ranging :P I dont need a siggy no moar.
