I want to try merchanting while training. I have 2m cash. I'm willing to invest nearly all of it, but I don't know what items to buy and sell. And what the proper technique is.

Well I know that much haha. But I read somewhere to not buy at lowest price.. buy a little under average.

ps by saying buy low i didnt say min and sell high didnt say max

Buy items that are going down but are not junk. If you look at the pharaoh sceptre it was going down terribly but is going up today. Many items like these follow a "wave" pattern. Buy at the bottom of the wave for as low as you can get, sell it when it nears the top of the wave for the maximum you can get. I managed to snag 4 sceptres literally hours before they rose back up.

You say merchanting in the title but state you would like to invest in you post. Please clarify if you would like to do investing or merchanting.

 

 

 

If you want to invest i can teach you my ways and notify you of a few items to get you started.

If you are talking about merchanting, ill give you some tips, first off buy 2.5% under mid and sell 2.5% over mid that way you make a 5% profit. Also, a past item that was ideal for merchanting was rune scimitars and other rune items as pvp caused a sudden boom in the price and prices rose 1-2k daily. So just look for items that are steadily rising and try not to tie all of your money up in one item because if that item crashes you will lose alot of money. Go for items that are consistant at a price but just have been rising for a bit. Hope this helps.

None of my merchant items are working. Pretty much all day, and I sold 1 item for a 50k profit. :wall:

do you really think master investers/ge merchanters will post their info on the internet so the other 1m p2pers or so can acces it and ruin the method?
