  1. Within the Skill Guide for herblore, under secondary ingerdients, the "Where to Find" info for Wyvern Bonemeal and Grenwall spikes is mixed up. For the bonemeal, it states the info for the spikes and for spike, the info for bonemeal. I think that should be fixed ASAP as people will be reading the Herblore skill guide for information on the Herblore update and new potions. -Darkgale Pk
  2. Train on Cave Crawlers and Zombies in the 2nd level of the Stronghold of Security, you might also consider trying lessers in karamja or greaters in wildy if you are looking for good loot. Watch out for Revs though. Gl.
  3. Any idea on how long it will take to obtain one and how long it will last since i am planning to use SC items everytime i will train so i will probably need a vast number of SC helms (im thinking 50-100)
  4. Well after i recently accomplished my goal of 99 Strength i began to train Attack, well it had come to my attention that SC items harvest more experience. I am currently going to be training attack at bandits till 95 then Pcing the rest. I am currently using a whip and was wondering if a sc scimitar would speed up training. I would also like to know if it is a better item to use than a whip and how long it would take to obtain a SC scimitar and how long it would last. Thanks in advance. -Darkgale41 My Current Setup:
  5. You might want to collect some alter teleports then just tele from CW to the alter and back for fastest XP. Or you could get lots of varrok teleports run to the alter, tele back to varrok, bank then run back to the alter.
  6. If you have the cash, try investing in guthans and train in the bar within the bandit camp, wear a saradomin/ zamorak cloak or amulet and watch the experience fly by. You can easily harvest 45-60k experience per hour there with minimal effort.
  7. You might also wish to invest in a cannon as it makes the annoying tasks such as kalphites go by much quicker, it also helps in other situations. Once you get to the higher level tasks and masters you will want to use super sets as you only need 1-2 per task and thats a mere 10k as stated above, and you will likely make that back easily with the drops from higher level monsters. Hope this helps. GL.

  9. If you are talking about merchanting, ill give you some tips, first off buy 2.5% under mid and sell 2.5% over mid that way you make a 5% profit. Also, a past item that was ideal for merchanting was rune scimitars and other rune items as pvp caused a sudden boom in the price and prices rose 1-2k daily. So just look for items that are steadily rising and try not to tie all of your money up in one item because if that item crashes you will lose alot of money. Go for items that are consistant at a price but just have been rising for a bit. Hope this helps. -Darkgale41
  10. Hoping to get 99 attk, range and 94 mage also get 50-75m gp by the end of 2009 =).
  11. Both weapons are effective in their respective areas, D longsword is slightly slower than the Scim but makes up for it by an increased strength bonus attack bonus and a more versital special (in terms of PvP, being able to attack normally and then without the enemy knowing land some or a single high hit for a possible ko. The Scim, is good for its effectivly higher speed and popularity. Tbh, i would prefer a Scim in that particular situation, im not sure why since all of the information should deem the longsword the better weapon but i just feel safer with a scim contrary to its counterpart the longsword.
  12. OK, first of all you dumb "lets use protect pray" people need to shut up. Whats the point of pking if you are just going to use a protect prayer? I'll tell u...NONE. You guys are the dumb ones, pures aren't noobs they just know how to pk and get a kill. Let me ask you this have you ever pked someone your combat level praying and actually gotten good loot? I know for a fact that the answer is no since you "lets your protect pray" are just ordinary mains that think: oh let me see if i can 3 item or 1 item and kill some 1 DEF pure or a lower level. Tbh, it takes no skill at all so get skulled and turn your pray off if you think you are all that awesome. I guarantee you will get owned, and badly. Pures own mains(period). Their purpose is to kill people. And need i remind you that the original thread was meant to be for skulling discussion and not for making a fool of yourself? And so now that thats taken care of, i can move onto the intended discussion. Yea I have actually have experienced this is in old wild and in PvP, the noobs that walk around with rune pl8 legs and a d scim and ask you to fight and then also expect you to attack first. I see them everywhere and its honestly (making me angry) me off. I think jagex should apply the BH skulls to PvP worlds so we get rid of all the 1 and 3 item noobs. Thanks for Reading. ~Darkgale41
  13. If you were looking for a good place to train with charms and good loot, I'd recommend cockroach soldiers. They have above average loot ( rune and dragon items fairly often), and drop crimson charms ever 2-3 kills.
  14. Range would be easier, but with 99 melee stats it would be possible. Switching between 3 prays requires an immense amount of concentration and I wouldn't recommend it since you will likely get hit. And about the healers, I don't think it possible unless you have an armadyl gs and u veng/4 hit jad with all your hits being +50. So you will likely have to deal with the healers. And since you also have the healers to deal with and switch between 3 prays, I would recommend you to reconsider meleeing jad and just use range. Good luck.
  15. As ouchy said in the previous reply, it all depends on whether it is experience or profit that you are after. If it is experience you want the logical rune to craft is earth and if it is contrary to that and you want profit/money airs would be the way to go.
  16. Just do the best stuff you can at the lvl that you are at. And try to plant as many items as you can so you are continuously getting xp. And while you wait for your crops/ plants to grow play vinesweeper for some additional xp or alch to pass the time. Good Luck.
  17. Scientific approach works best for me, saves me time in the future to do what i like to do, and is more efficient.
