Fastest way from 63-66 mage (P2P)

Featured Replies

I am currently 63 Magic and I would like to get to 66 Magic for the guild. What is the fastest way? I would like to use a fairly cheap and speedy method.

Also, has anyone else noticed that the forum is slow at loading?

Thanks!

Alching is quick, and you (can) profit! Just use the Grand Exchange table, find a good alching item, and alch away. I went from 60-66 in a day, so 63-66 is no biggie.

Yes, the forum is slow. :l

Current Whip Drops: 9 Current D Boots drops: 27

Alch after reading through the Grand Exchange lists on runescape.com main site.

Do stuff at the MTA, working towards earning the B2P spell.

Go with chaos gauntlets from the Family Crest quest and use fire bolt on metal drags.

All of these are fairly cheap/worthwhile in the long run.

If you've got at least 50 smithing, you could superheat mith bars. With the raised costs of mith bars due to SC, you'll probably be making a bit of a profit while you superheat. The animation is also quite a bit faster than high alching although you have to bank a lot.

But you do get some delicious smithing XP while you do it. Who doesn't love some smithing xp?
