Hey all. I'm bluehooloovo (like you couldn't guess from the title, right?). I generally go by blue, since bluehooloovo is a little long, y'know? Anyway, I had a blog last year, but then I hit finals season and stopped playing, and then the rollback killed it and I didn't bother to resurrect it. But my New Year's Runescape Resolution is to keep up a blog of my achievements (or lack thereof.)

I mostly listen to show tunes (music from Pippin! is my current favorite), with some Vietnam protest songs and singers thrown in. I like reading (*shock* *horror*) and my favorite author is Tamora Pierce. For TV shows, I love NCIS, House, Bones, Death Note (I'm apparently a heathen for preferring the English dub over the original Japanese), and Avatar (even though it's over now).[/hide]

Well I have a rather old and annoying habits,

It took a while for me to get the 1000 total, because I'm very slow. And funny you should mention laziness, because I'm also lazy. :P But I will be trying my hardest to keep up this blog, so we'll see.

On blog update for today: Didn't get a chance to play too much today (my mom is on a cleaning craze), but I started working on 70 mining. I won't get it in the time left today, and I probably won't get it tomorrow either (relatives are coming over, and I'll be expected to actually spend time with them - weird, I know), but I'm aiming/hoping for Sunday.

Done for the day, I think. 43k from 70 mining, so I think Sunday is probably a good guess for actually getting it, as I said in my previous post.

 

 

 

I did manage to get insulted, though. Joy. Let me give you the setup, then you can look at the pic. I'm mining in East Varrock, outmining everyone on that world (the second highest leveled miner behind me had a mithril pick), and someone with a rune pick comes along. No problem, I don't mine a bit of competition and if they consistently beat me to the rock, I'll hop quietly. So I continue mining the three rocks along the top, and this person does the same, completely ignoring the one rock I don't touch. He gets about one in every three or four, but apparently expecting him to quietly hop, politely ask me to stick to just two rocks (and when asked politely, I typically do), or quietly put up with it was too much to ask.

 

 

 

 

 

 

He logged out immediately after telling me to "Go paint your kennel." :roll:

Here's what you should do after 68 ranged (good luck, lol. All of it is completely doable, though.)

 

 

 

- 55 prayer

 

- 60 magic

 

- 60 rc

 

- 70 crafting

 

- 65 smithing (or 70)

 

- 75 fishing

 

- 75 cooking

 

- 75 fm

 

- 75 wc

 

 

 

And then after all this, go for 70 atk, str, def, and ranged. Don't worry about HP cuz I can never determine what level it will be after all the cb levels, lol.

First the blog update, then the replies. I got 70 mining a little early, and pinkbullet3 took a break from woodcutting to be a cheerleader. :D Then I headed off to Crandor to kill moss giants. It's going pretty well, I'm about 27.6k from 65 ranging. I'll probably get it tomorrow.

Also, I read somewhere on these forums that items stack on the ground in accordance with their high-alch values, with the most expensive on top. I hope that's not true, because otherwise my high-alch value must be really low... ;)

Today wasn't half-bad, I suppose. I mined my first adamantite ore, got 65 ranged, and argued with an idiot. I suppose you want pics? I have them.

I would have given him the benefit of the doubt and assumed that he meant that because they had more hitpoints, you would get more experience per monster, but he objected to that phrasing when someone else proposed it, so I'm going to go with him being an idiot. Granted, I probably didn't have to actually call him one, but meh. I had been standing around in that area for an hour or so by the time he came along and I was getting kind of restless, which made me a little...sharp, shall we say? Oh, and this guy was level 91. You'd think he'd know better by the time he got that high. The light blue guy was around 60, and the dark blue guy was in the 90's somewhere.[/hide]

 

 

 

And I'm 41k from 66 ranged, so that should be tomorrow or Tuesday. :) Also, futzed around with the calcs and determined that 68 ranged will not give me a hitpoints or prayer level, though I'll only be about 20 kills from 54 prayer, so I'll probably stick around long enough to get that.

Once I get started on the smithing out all that iron I mined, I'll be high alching the steel plates. Hopefully that will get me a few levels. *fingers crossed* :pray: I also teleport while runecrafting and ring alch all my moss giant armor drops. I just really don't like training magic. :P Hence it being my second-lowest skill. ;)

I have heard that. I just got high alch a couple of weeks ago, so I haven't had much chance to look into what would be best to alch, but it is definitely on my to-do list. :D

 

 

 

EDIT: Took a brief break from playing with the giants to smelt while looking up alchables. Best I could find was a 37 gp per alch loss, which works out to about .569 gp per experience point, which isn't too bad. Of course, there's the stupid G.E. buying limits, but I'm seriously considering alching to 60. :)

Okay day, got 66 ranged, did a little bit of smelting, and got most of the way to 57 magic. :) I'll definitely get 57 magic tomorrow, but 67 ranged probably won't be until Wednesday since I still have 45.4k experience to go and I'm going to be working in the morning. Also, I had the almost-expected conversation with an idiot, or as the other person present labeled him, a 'nutburger.' I missed the very beginning, but most of it is there. If you feel like it, you can see that the conversation was ongoing while I was leveling up - the idiot is speaking in the level up picture.

Also, I just noticed that today is the first day that I've levelled up without needing to move one of the goal bars down to the 'achieved' section. Not sure if that's good or bad, it's just something I noticed.

I'm going to stop saying when I'm going to get things, because I keep turning out to be wrong. -.- Though, all my wrongs so far have been because i was earlier than expected, not later, so that's not necessarily a bad thing, I suppose.

 

 

 

Anyway, today I got 57 magic and 67 ranged. I'm now 46k from 68 ranged, so I'll be getting that sometime soon, along with 54 prayer.

 

 

 

Also, no conversations worth screeny-ing, but I did run into a guy from a couple of days ago. You might remember the conversation where somebody was insisting that Lesser Demons gave more experience? Well, one of the intelligent people in that conversation was still training at moss giants today. We didn't talk much, but I picked up and returned some of his adamant arrows (maybe 30 altogether), he gave me a ruby when he mined it (I got the feeling he would have dropped it otherwise), and then before he left, he gave me 5k and 15 law runes for 'being honest.' :o :D So that was nice. I was so thrown by the gesture that I didn't get a screenshot, but I think that encounter is going to be the high point of my several days at mossies. :)
