January 1, 200917 yr No, you can't fight players in the wilderness anymore unless you are on a pvp server. This is indicated at the world select screen. January 1, 200917 yr You lose your items, all but 3 if you don't have a skull, all if you do have a skull, but they don't get your items, they get random drops based on their drop potential, it's complicated. I don't understand the whole thing, so that's all I can tell you.
