January 2, 200917 yr I'm training mage. (To 61 on a tight budget) Then I"m getting it to 82. What are the best ways to train mage. I don't want to go broke, but I don't want to spend years. (Current mage is 58) Current budget is 150k :/ ~Deathmath Thoroughly retired, may still write now and again

January 2, 200917 yr easily ;) if you arent in melee distance they cant hit you  just remember anti-fires..........
January 2, 200917 yr Alch until 66. Buy a mud staff. Vulnerability until 80. Approx 80k per hour. Stun until 82. Approx 100k per hour. I don't know what "broke" is to you but this method will cost a few mil but will be extremely quick.
January 2, 200917 yr yeah or whatever the highest chaos spell is use that to get good xp and only kill iron steels take too long :D and gl THE REV HUNTER
January 2, 200917 yr Author Well. I don't really want to spend like 10m or anything. Could you link me to a guide for killing irons? Thoroughly retired, may still write now and again
January 2, 200917 yr use chaos gaunts and use fire blast on irons who knows maybe you'll get visage :) NO. I did metals from 80-93 and I've got 1 vis, then massive training again at 99 and nothing. Chances are close to NOTHING. It's hard to kill even at 70 with ahrims, I can't imagine 58. Just stick with alching. If you know what to alch you won't lose much. 95/99 Summoning95/99 Slayer [hide=This is what you look like when you play RS too long][/hide]
January 2, 200917 yr Author Then what to alch  Thoroughly retired, may still write now and again
January 2, 200917 yr Superheat mithril... Faster than alching, you also get smithing xp... (then sell the mithril) BTW... 150k won't be enough to do anything good... If you want to alch - alch addy plates or addy sq shields
January 2, 200917 yr Author Well that's net. SO if i don't lose that much between 2 levels... Thoroughly retired, may still write now and again
