Shiny
And a Collab. Jeez, everyone on ma other forum is doing them. This was with ouchy. 'Twas a stock. And my drawing. Aiming to be real simple, and practise for me on perspective, so not much in the way of detail, and little in the way of shading. Though the shade is in all the correct places. Ouchy
That be hotness there ;) Oh, your drawing is good too. ;) My relaxation method involves a bottle of lotion, beautiful women, and partial nudity. Yes I get massages.
Sam
Not liking the collab; borders are too chunky, bad choice of font and the effects on it, though good positioning. Smudging on the right side doesn't look great either, though the colours are nice. I also think more effects should be added, perhaps a wireframe or two, and 1/2 effect C4D's? The drawing is alright, the lines seem a bit weird in some places, like on the pencil case. I do like the shading on the pens. I'm interested to know: what do you use to draw your drawings? Pencil? Charcoal? 2257AD.TUMBLR.COM
Estonian dude
Collab seems nice, I like the bg and how the halo guy blends with it. So I've noticed this thread's regulars all follow similar trends. RPG is constantly dealing with psycho exes.Muggi reminds us of the joys of polygamy.Saq is totally oblivious to how much chicks dig him.I strike out every other week.Kalphite wages a war against the friend zone.Randox pretty much stays rational.Etc, etc
Skull
Your light source seems a little inconsistent on your drawing, or maybe the perspective is a little odd. There's also a few shadows missing and you need to try to work in more shades than just a dark and a light, especially on more free form objects like the pencil case. In all not too bad though, your shading and detail work is good for the most part. Assuming that's a full size scan you might want to find some bigger paper so you can work in more details like texture. Ecliptics
The stapler on the drawing needs shadowing. I iz Admin (: PixelRemix
Nom
The sketch is sloppy. The book shouldn't be curved, use a ruler. The shading is rather messy (although I understand that scanning can make it look worse than it is, I've experienced that too often) and needs more tones. The teeth on the pencil case and the pens are pretty good, but they contrast too much with the emptiness of the rest. Choose between line art and a full-fledged drawing, you're sort of in between here. Overall it just needs to be cleaner and neater, with more detail or else a better composition. The composition you have now is okay but doesn't work very well with the way you've drawn it; I would recommend moving the pens and pencil case closer together so that you have an area of extreme detail. Then the contrast would work good.
Shiny
Nom: I think I was going to make a full sketch .Thanks for the advice. I'm really stuck for composition, U've read a few books, and articles but it never really shows up. Any help? Because you seem to be pretty good :).
