You should take advantage of this by using good Magic-based combat familiars (Fire titans, Wolpertinger), but that's as far as you should go with Magic. Just melee them with Protect Melee IN CHAOS TUNNELS. They drop more charms there. Yes, there are safespots if you want to Range. (Range > Mage) 91 mage>55 range At such a high magic level you could be very effective on black demons, try using slayer dart. I use slayer dart often and it seems very accurate. So probobably melee, or test magic out first, because with magic he won't use prayer potions. Prayer potions cost a couple thousand an hour, while Slayer dart is literally 5-10 times that. Plus, there are much better ways to train magic, as said before. And range really isn't an option. Just because he is choosing magic over melee doesn't mean he is choosing to raise his magic through slayer, just to get slayer tasks done faster.
