These are my main two money makers. I've starting to ask myself which one is better fast and easier. What are your thoughts on this .

Depends on wc level?

lets say 80 wc and 80 mineing and 10k pure ess vs. 1k mage logs

Personally I think Pure Essence is alot faster and like virtually no competition. Mage logs sell for more, but its harder to get them. Pure essence is easy to get at the Magic guild and bank right there in yanille. Hope this helps!

I'm just trying to figure out if I should drop one, I mine 10k pure ess and cut 1k magic logs at a time so that why I'm useing that to compare

I also agree, mage logs does not even come close to touching the money you can make from Pure Ess.

What about skills? I mean you will get some nice WC xp for magics but... very little (50k?) for pure ess

this was tested at 93 WC and 83 mining...

115k gp per hour at mage logs.

 

 

 

around 6k xp mining per hour at pure ess.

 

around 22-23k xp WC per hour at mage logs.

Doing The Great Orb Project for essence is considerably faster anyway.

 

 

 

I'd stick with mining, or aim for 50 Runecrafting and try the Great Orb Project.

Thanks to all who posted I think I'm going to stop cut mages for quick cash and do that to Vut down on the boredom that comes with mineing ess

 

 

 

It's should of been simple I guess I just didn't want to let go. when working hard I make 1k pure ess ever 45 mins compared to an avarage of 28 mage logs every 10-20 mins. Pure ess is clearly faster and easyer because your not Competeing for a resource. And with my comnparesion of 100 mage log/1000 pure ess I seem to make more with pure ess despite there lower value.
