January 9, 200917 yr Hey there! This is an appeal to those hardcore star hunters out there, who really are experienced on the ways of the star sprites (AKA "tubbies"). Not having mined many of those myself, today i stumbled upon a very large star during my farming round, resulting in me getting some goodies and those "15 minutes of change to get double ores while mining". The question is: do those 15 minutes continue counting while i'm offline, or is it only logged-in time which counts? P.S.: Mining runite while on that time rocks!! 8-)
January 9, 200917 yr Not sure, but about your runite comment...Try iron with mousekeys, you're guranteed to get extremly fast Mining exp.
January 9, 200917 yr Author Actually, using a once-a-day reward that lasts 15 minutes to get xp over the potential it has on runite is an epic waste, IMO.
January 9, 200917 yr A. Mousekeys are not illegal. B. Using them for skills that require lots of banking/ Powertraining (dropping)/ burying at POH altars or reguler burying, all cut things shorter, and in the case of burying also gurantees you won't bury anything you're not ready to bury. C. Mousekeys are hawt .
January 9, 200917 yr Author Thanks for all the "off-topicness" there, i'm sure hotkeys are great, but it wasn't related to my question... Rambling aside, i've just found the answer to my own question. The 15 min stop counting while logged-out. So, all that "Wait while changing world" time while mining runite won't affect the timer. *Goes grab a chunk of sky-blue coloured metal chunks*

Same goes for Mining, iron in F2P and granite in P2P are you best choices for exp. P.S. It's mousekeys not hotkeys, and you should use it ;) .

I'm almost positively sure he doesn't care one bit about getting xp. He just wants to get double rune ores...

January 9, 200917 yr I may be an idiot, but what the heck is mousekeys? Many believe that the 1980 eruption of Mt. Saint Helens was a catostrophic geological event, in reality it was the day that Jimi Hendrix returned to Earth from the next world and actually stood up next to a mountain and chopped it down with the edge of his hand.-Random Youtuber
January 9, 200917 yr I usually do my daily star as the last RS chore before I sleep. When I log on the next day, I will see the message in my scroll box after I've been on about 10-15 minutes. The timer only ticks off during your gaming session. If double ores are what you are after, work on the Varrock diary tasks and get Varrock Plate. It never expires. Yeah, but then again, Varrock armour 3 only works for ores up to adamatite... Anyway, this could be closed...
