Promise
Your image gets cut off because your image size is too small. The simplest way to fix that is figure out its size, create a new document with same size and drag all your layers into it. As for saving it as a PNG, go to file > Save for web and devices and select PNG and file type. Illustrators workspace sucks compared to Ps. Sam
First of all, your t-shirt is going to have to be bigger, at least 11x11 inches for an adult size t-shirt. Also, you can't save as .png on Illustrator, so you'll have to export it to Photoshop; merge all the layers, select, and then copy it into PS - it'll come up with a little box with how you want to paste it: choose "Smart Object". If you don't have PS, I'm stuck :? 2257AD.TUMBLR.COM
DementedHero
You can't save as png in Illustrator? Who ever told you that? Use Save for web and devices. Png right there. Also, image getting cut off has something to do with artboard/image size. If you're using cs4, with nothing selected, click the document settings button in the top bar. Adjust the artboard size there to your liking. In cs3, I think it's in the File>Document setup. Change the image size. That should fix it. Also, I have no idea what the thing is you drew xD Perhaps if I see the full image.
pryomancer
It looks like it was drawn in Paint if I'm honest. I don't know if you've deliberately gone outside the lines sometimes for a stylish effect, but it doesn't come across as that, it just looks messy and rushed. You need to work on your lines more, I think you've used the pencil or brush tool to draw it, and it looks jagged and uneven when you apply the stroke. I think there's a tool which smooth out lines, so try using that if it exists. I remember seeing halftone Illustrator tutorials ages ago, they were pretty easy I think, it should be too much of an issue.
ipkjooo
Halftones are easy(Providing you have the live-trace feature) Start by making a black>white gradient in a box wherever you need the halftone then: Effect>Pixelate>ColourHalftone(fool with settings if you want)>LiveTrace(enable ignore white)>Expand Then you can apply gradients across the group as you please
Shiny
Thanks for all the help. I'll clean up the lines, add shading and make it bigger. A lot bigger. And halftones. Thanks for the help!
Shiny
Its not working. The live trace won't come up with my halftoned area.

DementedHero
Here's what I do for halftones in Illustrator: Get a shade of gray, or a black/gray to white gradient. Draw the shape you want the halftones in. Rasterize the shape at 300dpi. Apply the colour halftone filter. Expand appearence of the object. (Object>expand appearence, something like that). Then use the live trace to get em back to vector. Put ignore white on. Most of the other stuff you can just leave as they are. Object>Expand. Ungroup two or three times(as many times as you can), and add all the shapes together using 'add' in the pathfinder, so it's all one object. Give it the colour you need.
