January 11, 200917 yr I have just hit level 40 magic and have had it pointed out to me that I am wearing the wrong armour when casting spells etc. Generally I wear mithral/ adamant. As I am relatively new and have not much coinage, I was hoping what armour would suit me, especially during slaying tasks or when I am casting spells against guards etc so I survive without taking too much damage from them.
January 11, 200917 yr a lot of places have safespots to cast mystic hat mystic top mystic bottoms staff rune kite/broodoo shield mystic boots/gloves glory providing cash would be great help
January 11, 200917 yr Mystic is good for magic attack, but provides little defense. Splitbark may be a good alternative at your level as it provides a good mix between the two. Thank you to tripsis for an awesome sig!
January 11, 200917 yr With splitbark, have you completed th quest Elemental Workshop 1 and or 2? An Elemental Shield or Mind Shield can be useful as it gives no magic attack penalty, as does an Anti Dragon Shield. Square shields also seem to not have much reduction to your magic attack bonus either.
January 11, 200917 yr dunno how good the stats are but the sacred clay armour seems to be good, the melee is as good as rune so the mage maybe as good as mystic and it's free in terms of cash but it may take you a few hours if you're a low level ]

January 12, 200917 yr Aside from mystic, another good option might be the FoG armours. While obtaining them you get to get mage exp, although you will have to recharge them and I'm not sure how longs they stay charged either. Proud Owner Of A Quest Cape As Of 4/29/08
