Finally I have finished this today. Work is a pain and I have been unable to finish this until now. Thankyou very very much Sy. Without your expertise I would never have got through it. I hope others find this thread when they get stuck on this cabbage of a quest.

Thanks Sy, I missed one set of B,5,E,2 and all went well until the end of puzzle 5 which is whirring and clicking and actually looking how it is supposed to. I went to start puzzle 6 and got the message "Nothing interesting happens, perhaps if it were powered first". I thought maybe because I have done puzzle 6 previouslyI could move onto puzzle 7 and nup, no way, got the same message again. Sitting here scratching my head. I haven't reset or anything like that. Just wondering what seems to have gone wrong. God I hate puzzles.

I have no idea what I have done wrong here... seriously I have done all the moves from puzzle 3 and none of them looked like the corresponding pics at all. Here are my screens shots I didn't think to screen shot after puzzle three. It didn't look right either. Puzzle 4 Puzzle 5 Puzzle 6 I did puzzle 7 and nothing happened at all :wall: I did have to undo 1 move in puzzle 6 but that should not have made a difference in any of the others. I am beginning to think I have stuffed the thing so badly I have broken the quest :roll:

Gee thanks for all of your help Sir Squab - NOT. Did you actually read my post? Or did you just find it hard to resist the chance to make yourself look a fool by posting something totally irrelevant to the topic? I am aware I have to solve puzzles and while I was doing it, somewhere I went wrong or I wouldn't be asking for help in the Help forum would I? All I want to know is what I need to do to restart the whole bloody thing again so I can finish the quest. it's a simple enough question. If I knew the answer I wouldn't be asking would I? Sy I would appreciate your input as you seem to be the person who actually seems to have a good insight into this (cabbage) of a quest.

I started this months ago and never finished it. Yesterday i thought i would finish it and thought I could just restart the puzzle by hitting reset and off I went. I got through puzzle one which corresponded with the pics , and then something went wrong, even though I used a different guide (used by a friend) none of the puzzles looked right and nothing worked :| So I reset and started again, still nothing worked. I am worried that I have totally buggered it. I fully intend on using the Tip it guide this time (yes I have learned my lesson) but I want to know, if I reset the puzzle again can I just start at the beginning, and hopefully it should work? I had put in the infinite moves so will i have to do these again. Thanks for the help.

Update: Didn't need the key (though I had it with me) and had to go get the mushroom and not go through the lever pallaver. Dd get a bit lost down ing the dungeon :rolleyes: Gee that Ghost is still hard to kill though. I managed to finish him off with one tuna potato left. :thumbsup:

I don't think you understand my point. Someone comes along and sets up a cannon and ALL spots are compromised. A cannon takes out a number of dragons. Not just one. So when somebody sets up a cannon it not only takes one spot but two or three (or more) spots. Karma had her moment yesterday. Cannon owner got owned by a rev :thumbsup: yesterday. Interestingly enough, not one person helped him out, and he was calling for help like a baby. Plenty of us could have. We did have 5 minutes to kill a few dragons though.

If Joe bloggs is happy to give you it for free than go to him. Oh and hitting accept and not putting in money? You think I am stupid and wont notice? And if you cannot afford more then 1 hour because you don't have the trade limit? Not my problem. Go and do a few quests to bring up your trade limit so you can have the whip for longer. Saying all of the above, if somebody is polite and actually communicates, than I will give it for less and happy to add and renew it if they want.

Great idea, I would like to be able to lock the tabs in place. Sooooo many times I have accidently merged or deleted a tab :unsure: then have to sit and move everything back into a new tab again :blink: and it takes forever to fix. I'd be happy with a 'are you sure you want to do this?' message, because once you've clicked it, it's done and gets very frustrating. Also allocated spots would be great for fast dumping of stuff out of inventory.

My current peeve is cannons at green dragons. It is hard enough to compete with the other ten players trying to slay green dragons without some eejit (or two) plonking down a cannon (or two or more) and setting it off. NOBODY gets a chance then and I am seeing this more and more often. The most likely culprit is some kid who doesn't have the testicles to take on a green dragon one on one. Spoils all the fun really. This holiday weekend has been a nightmare for cannons at green and blue dragons. Time for jagex to make ALL dragons a cannon free zone.

I have 80 wc and have 2 spirit seeds and am currently at 58 farming. Got all mine from mtk. It doesn't cost a lot really. I keep mine at 1M and it costs me about 250k per week to keep it topped up at that. With all the herbs that I make into potions and logs or nests to sell it pays for itself and you can make a profit if you make things and sell wisely.

I started Haunted mine ages ago, and was unable to finish the end because I just wasn't strong enough to kill that thing... Now I have my cb up and want to go back, but for the life of me have no idea of what I need to do to go back and finish off the boss. Do I need to go through all the mining cart pallaver to get the mushrooms again as I know I cant see with out them, as well as opening and closing all of the valves. I dont think I even have the keys anylonger. please can anyone help me as none of the guides I have read have any info on this. Much appreciated.

You are welcome to do firemaking for me. I totally hate the skill and do not see the point of it, as well as being a huge cash burner. Why burn logs when you can sell them?

As i am currently working towards my quest cape and I have 226 QPs, its interesting to read some of the comments on here. Sometimes I use a guide, sometimes I don't, just to get a feel for the quest, and I always read the storyline. Not done MEP1 or 2 yet. They are there to be done in the next few weeks. Just be aware that your terrorbird cannot fit through the well at the end of the underground pass. Found that out the hard way. #-o Make sure you have a heap of super anti-poison pots too. And food...

Hi all, somehow I have lost my copy of the Beaten book (and the scroll) from Elemental workshop 2. It is not in my bank, nor my house. My quest journal says that I have found and read them, and I have managed to do all of the quest so far without them. All I have to do now is make the elemental and mind helms to complete the quest. I have been back to the digsite library to try and find a replacement copy, but have not been able to get one. Please can somebody let me know where I may be able to find this beaten book (I have the slashed) so I can get this quest completed. Thanks

Thanks for the help guys and gals. I wore my splitbark armour, stood in the safe spot and maged him with elemental blasts. Took about 12 blasts to do it.

I kept my construction as my lowest skill for 4 weeks and used tears of guthix on them, I then saved my penguin points instead of trading them and after the fourth week of T o G traded in my points and went ten levels. Try that for a few weeks, maybe until you have 50 pp and that may help. Construction is my least favourite skill as it is just ridiculously expensive.

What is the best armour to wear to kill Chronozon?I have rune, split bark, [bleep]ed and blue dragon hide and a dragon skirt. I was thinking rune - but wouldn't this render the blasting spells useless? Also is the safe spot near the air alter (just in front)? I was thinking of ranging him from there (60 range, 60 melee) but was unsure of what armour would be best.

Thanks everyone for your help. I have my private chat on friends and have added her to my ignore list. What freaked me out is that someone would even bother to follow another player to another world to harrass them/take their XP etc. I just hope it doesn't happen to anyone else - especially a kid, even if the perpetrator is a kid themselves that is just wierd behaviour. I didn't say anything reportable - just 'stupid cow'. Maybe she has done this before, and as it isn't a reportable offense, has gotten away with it. I may try and contact jagex somehow and ask them to consider it. Cyber stalking/harrassment is a big concern, and if that sort of thing happens in a game, god knows what else that person may be doing.
