What monster that I can kill drops green charms often?

Or what is the most efficent method to raise summoning? (compfreak, help me if you could, I'd appreciate it)

The fastest way is to use crimson charms (dropped often by Cockroaches, Dust Devils, Black Demons etc.)

I have never been to the chaos tunnels, but would it be worth going there for Black Demons? Also could I range them well with 72 ranged?

You can kill them in Chaos tunnels or Tavelry dungeon. Strangely, however, the ones in Tavelry drops close to no charms. There are safespots for ranging in Chaos tunnels, or you can melee them with protect melee on (They hit too high without). I suggest ranging as prayer potions are quite expensive. They are the only viable range monsters for charms, in my opinion.

As for greens, bloodvelds drop alot. Green charms are basically the easiest way to train summon.. For a cheap person, since most green charm familiars result in profit if used correctly.

There are always better options than cockroaches.

Ok, I see 55 slayer, 70 atk and def, and 76 str if im not mistaken. Also 72 range.

 

 

 

The black demons are pretty awesome for crimson charms, but can be slightly (SLIGHTLY) dangerous if you screw up.

 

So take that inv that Kents guide showed but since your defence is lower, maybe 2 baskets of strawberries or something.

 

 

 

Cockroaches still made me around 80k each run with 10 crimsons though.

1 last question, how do I get through the chaos tunnels to the black demons(I have never used chaos tunnels before.)

there are things that drop greens lots, dragons, with steels usually higher than 1:1 ratio kills to greens, but yes, crimsons are much more efficient

Just train slayer, you will get charms, cash and combat levels. And some slayer levels as a bonus.

Crimsons are your best bet. Slayer is the best way to get charms but only if you're in it for the long haul.

 

 

 

Waterfiends are a good crimson dropper.

Sure, greens are low xp/charm, but if you actually USE the familiar, they cost very little. Good example is the Ibis, used for fishing. Since it forages fish every once in a while, selling the fish covers the cost of shards, and more. Also, the buyip pouches also require a green charm, as does the unicorn IIRC.

 

 

 

Granted, using several K pouches in fishing is a bit unrealistic, but just to prove the point that green charms aren't completely useless as many treat them to be.

Use Kent's Guide or just do slayer, it truly does bring in a lot of charms, cmb xp and cash
