UnknownRemoval
The fastest way is to use crimson charms (dropped often by Cockroaches, Dust Devils, Black Demons etc.) Green charms are costly in shards and give low experience. Retired Crew Member | Retired RuneScape Player

I have never been to the chaos tunnels, but would it be worth going there for Black Demons? Also could I range them well with 72 ranged? pureprayer
[hide=4) Black demon(172)]Why you should kill these: Range xp You can kill them in Chaos tunnels or Tavelry dungeon. Strangely, however, the ones in Tavelry drops close to no charms. There are safespots for ranging in Chaos tunnels, or you can melee them with protect melee on (They hit too high without). I suggest ranging as prayer potions are quite expensive. They are the only viable range monsters for charms, in my opinion. [/hide] Stolen from kents guide Pureprayer, you're awesome. Miss War
you should consider black demons, but green charms arn't commonly droped with any monster, but these mentioned are one of the most, if that makes sense, Goodluck, Miss Private Chat is allways ON, So please feel free to add me, I allways enjoy a good conversation and Im also a very good listener. pureprayer
Gold Charms = Cheap but bad xp (Dont hunt for these) Green Charms = Almost the cost of crims but gives half the xp (Dont hunt for these) Crimson Charms = Great xp and cost best charm out there (Hunt for these) Blue Charms = Great Great xp and cost but very rare (Only hunt for these at armored zombies when your looking for melee xp) Inorder of best to worst: Crimson Blue Gold Green Taking in all variables Pureprayer, you're awesome. Orly_Owl
Cockroaches are actually good for charms. At my level i got an average of 10 crimsons per run, this is around 74 all melee with 78 hp using monkfish. As for greens, bloodvelds drop alot. Green charms are basically the easiest way to train summon.. For a cheap person, since most green charm familiars result in profit if used correctly. Gold charms are for the cheapest of cheap people. :P and actually not very bad, giant rock lobsters drop 10 per drop and quite often, thats 680xp and 10 terrorbirds. Orly_Owl
Yeah for some reason no images opened when I opened this thread.. EDIT: Ok, I see 55 slayer, 70 atk and def, and 76 str if im not mistaken. Also 72 range. The black demons are pretty awesome for crimson charms, but can be slightly (SLIGHTLY) dangerous if you screw up. So take that inv that Kents guide showed but since your defence is lower, maybe 2 baskets of strawberries or something. Cockroaches still made me around 80k each run with 10 crimsons though. baileydafrog
there are things that drop greens lots, dragons, with steels usually higher than 1:1 ratio kills to greens, but yes, crimsons are much more efficient
Fools_Taco
Just train slayer, you will get charms, cash and combat levels. And some slayer levels as a bonus.
cat666
Crimsons are your best bet. Slayer is the best way to get charms but only if you're in it for the long haul. Waterfiends are a good crimson dropper. Trust the Gene Genie!
transcript80
Sure, greens are low xp/charm, but if you actually USE the familiar, they cost very little. Good example is the Ibis, used for fishing. Since it forages fish every once in a while, selling the fish covers the cost of shards, and more. Also, the buyip pouches also require a green charm, as does the unicorn IIRC. Granted, using several K pouches in fishing is a bit unrealistic, but just to prove the point that green charms aren't completely useless as many treat them to be. Gandalf14141
Use Kent's Guide or just do slayer, it truly does bring in a lot of charms, cmb xp and cash Finally on here to update that I have officially quit!
