Life not only transforms air,(Oxygon to carbon dioxide, and vice versa), but animals can also break wind,(farting). Therefore, you should get 99 hitpoints. Plus, it is not melee, since you can obtain it through range and mage. Of course, by this logic, 99 hitpoints is the same as 99 cooking...
