Prices are entirely set by players trading! There is no 'set value' that prices are based on, with the exception that a price will never rise above a shop's main stock price, or fall below the price a shop will pay for it.

 

 

 

The low alchemy value is the same as the price a shop will pay for the item.

Then why would they give us something so useless???

 

because if you get the item as a drop then you can alch it, saving you carrying it in your pack and taking space or selling it to the ge

 

it is a very helpful item

yup. its quite useful when ur on a slayer task, and you get a drop which isnt worth keeping, but is worth something with the low alch. =)

High alch anything worth more than a nature rune though.
