skylor12344
which is better to train wcing with? my friend who has 99 wc used a rune axe all the way to 99 and it took her about 3 months to get but is the d axe better? i have heard it is 20% faster than the rune axe but i also noticed the trees drop alot faster with it Example: Amount of yew logs from 1 tree with rune axe : 10-15 on average Amount of yew logs from 1 tree with Dragon Axe: 5-8 on average is it just my luck or does the rune axe actually work better for wcing things like willows/yews? GibberEsh
D axe is faster. Just buy a dragon axe since you can resell it later. I'm pretty sure it's just your luck that you're getting less logs per tree.
Jesus_Status
it's just your luck, a d axe cuts logs 15% faster then a rune axe
ladycai
Hah, I recall cutting about 16 logs from a yew tree with dragon axe and 1 with rune axe. It's just luck. If anything just go to an area where there are plenty of yews thriving, and maybe crowded worlds for faster spawns. If you want 99 or plenty of gold, then get the dragon axe. 95/99 Summoning95/99 Slayer [hide=This is what you look like when you play RS too long][/hide]
Troacctid
It's not even your luck. It's in your head. The rune axe chops slower than a dragon axe, and it's probably been chopping slower for you this whole time. The amount of logs per tree has nothing to do with the chop speed. It won't even affect your training at all, unless you have to spend too long waiting for respawns. asianboy7o7
with daxes being lendable and half as cheap than what it was 2 years ago daxes are worth it faster and easily sellable
