Wachtwoord
Simple question: Does the set effect of ahrims in pvp have the same animation as at the barrows mini game? cabbage
Lmao full ahrims has no point... Well I suppose the hood and staff are cheap... -.- We should add side skills, such as runecrafting and that would make arenascape addicting! Is He Insane? :wall: ARENAscape Levels: 163 & 162-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------RuneScape Levels: Main Acc(123) - Zerker Pure(87) - Pure Str(50) To Join My Lvl 80+ Clan, Click Here! Wachtwoord
Lmao full ahrims has no point... Well I suppose the hood and staff are cheap... -.- You'd be surprised how useful it is in combination with farcasting (out of the reach of r c bows I mean). Wachtwoord
Let's not turn this discussion about farcasting or if full ahrims is any good, I just asked a simple question. And about high detail, I'm actually playing in high detail. But I thought maybe I'm too far away to see the animation clearly (I am farcasting after all). muggiwhplar
Yes the animation is the same as barrows - a pink Ahrim head circles your opponent whenever it takes effect. It makes a special sound effect too if I remember correctly (I haven't pk'd w/ it since old wild)

rsInvestorr
You beat me to it bedman. Farseer is also just as good at a much lower price. One thing, and I am stating the obvious here, is that you need all 4 pieces, including the staff, and you will hit the spec fairly frequently. Combined with enfeeble, you can reduce an opponent to a zero hitting neophyte. Is it worth it? Probably not. The ancient staff and zammy book provide a much better punch. Although it might be a noteworthy tactic to consider at FOG for a meleeing Hunter. Since you can Seercull mages to make them ineffective, perhaps with Ahrims + Enfeeble you can do the same to meleers? Would take a hell of a long time though :x ~It's Super Effective! If you'd be so kind to show the above person the GIF animation that I've seen around here, then maybe you'd open up his eyes to the potential of Ahrims. Kind of going off topic here, but to answer some inquiries here about the usefulness of the Ahrim Hood/Staff, it's only good in the set effect. Farseer helm provides the same mage attack bonus as the Ahrim Hood, and is non degradable, so don't make the mistake on that one. There's also some better weapon slot equippables that trump the Ahrim Staff too, so outside of the set effect the hood and the staff are basically defunct items. 99 Hits, Attack, Strength, Defence, Mage, Summoning, Slayer, Ranged, 96/99 Prayer
