January 27, 200917 yr Members, a lot of people do monkfish as they are caught around the same rate as lobsters and cost around 400 gp each, sharks are ok but take much longer to catch are lower levels. January 27, 200917 yr Author can anyone give me a good timeframe to start fishing lobbs, monks,and sharks. like at level 40... its not good to do lobbs because it is too slow...
January 27, 200917 yr I can't give you a timeframe but I do know once you can fish monks it's probably best to just do that. I was level 80 before monks were released so they fished just as fast as lobbies when I did try them. So at 65 when you can fish monks do them. Until then just do lobbs. Also know, fishing sharks I believe is never more money than fishing monks and you get more exp for fishing 1 monk compared to 1 shark (120 for a monk and 110 for a shark I believe) I personally would never switch from monks to sharks but some people do because they THINK it's faster. Wait for Troc to reply, he has the numbers on it, but I am pretty sure that monks are faster gp/hour and exp/hour than sharks. Apparently, my signature was to big.
