I just wanna see what you guys think of my new tech sig. To me (A beginner at GIMP) it looks pretty good.

Thanks. As I said I am a beginner at GIMP and this is my very first tech sig.

Being a beginner is no reason to shrug off criticism or flaws in your work.

As for your sig, it looks ok~ish, but lets face it. No one really likes work which seems so tutorial heavy.

 

 

 

Nonetheless, it shows some good grasp at the tools that GIMP offers. Go to GIMPTalk and read up on some more Sig Tutorials. :)

looks great, the shapes are well done as are the gradients and transparencys. There are some great tuts on Devaintart if you want to get better. I like your work.

Thanks all! All your comments has really boosted my confidence and I am now willing to try my own stuff rather than just following every single step of a tutorial.

Runescape has bad graphics; if you are trying to make something decorative, they shouldn't be used in a siganture. I think it would look better with a simpler gradient.
