Things that annoy the HELL out of you.

TIP + TIF was hacked and downed since October 11th. TIP didn't take long to get back up, but TIF was finally revived yesterday. Oh, wow. Why do I become inactive when interesting things happen? Anyway, I hope there wasn't too much of an impact. -
I've been stalking Minecraft videos since I started playing, and I finally saw something which excited me (no, not sexually). The new map by CaptainSparklez in collaboration with the VoxelBox has been released today. Tbh, it looks freakin' epic. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nf-ISg0G-JM&feature=player_embedded

Wait, can someone fill me in on this downtime thing? I haven't been on since March of this year... so yeah. -
Update #1: Wow. I haven't seen this blog in quite some time now. Lets see... I decided to get members a few weeks ago, and I'm enjoying it so far. But, I'm seriously behind as lack of skills means I can't do very much. Speaking of skills: Yeas, I did get my 50 Runecrafting goal achieved. And for a lazy-ass like me, that's quite a feat. Since the start of this blog, I was a poor pixelated human which didn't really do much other than stand there. Don't worry though, I'm still teh same. Also, I'm nearing 70 combat now, and hopefully, I'll be able to screenie it for you guys. I was able to get my first million gp's. No, not because I worked hard. It was because of the re-release of free trade, and a rich guy in the Grand Exchange giving away free money... That's all for now. I hope to update this more often from now on. -Lifeanddeath/Chasm45/Chasman

Australian Open 2011
ACCOUNTKIL-ASDFAF12312FAF1 replied to ACCOUNTKIL-ASDFAF12312FAF1's topic in Off-Topic
Thanks. Nadal's performance in the semi-finals was the worst I've ever seen him play in a Grand Slam. Being World #1 is quite a feat, but apparently, that intimidation was not enough to keep Ferrer from triumph. The current placement in the men's final is a toughie, but I agree, Djokovic will come out on top. In terms of Federer, I think it was just because of his slow descent in performance, and Djokovic's luck. I'm watching the women's live, and currently it's the 3rd set, Clijsters leading 5-2. It looks like Clijsters has got his in the bag. -
With a $2,000,000 grand prize, the Australian Open is certainly a Grand Slam to want. But, the trials and tribulations the players have to endure is gruelling and tedious, but surely the money is enough to keep them motivated. The 2011 Australian Open is no different, but with the great Roger Federer losing in the semi-final, it seems that the others now have a chance at winning. The men's singles final seems a hitch, with the top two players gone. But can the two remaining players handle each other? Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray first met in a junior's tournament, and that match was not a good memory for the Serbian. Losing to Murray 6-1 6-0, a spectacular rivalry began. They now meet each other in the final of the Australian Open, each hoping they get a chance to hold the trophy. In the women's singles, the top two players are also gone, but that doesn't seem so bad. The difference is that both William's sisters have ceased to reach the quarterfinals. Kim Clijsters and Li Na battle it out for the $2,000,000. With these spectacular defeats, I ask a question. Who do you think will win this year? Edit: Clijsters has one the match, 3-6 6-3 6-3. Truly amazing!

What will make you quit RS
ACCOUNTKIL-ASDFAF12312FAF1 replied to stonewall337's topic in General Discussion
I'd probably quit when the entertainment value of Runescape is gone for me. That, or when I finally blow all my money on something useless . -
Nice cheap shots. Making yourself sound highly intelligent while also making others sound like a [developmentally delayed]. Now since we who voted yes obviously does not know how to think, can you tell me why the re-release of free trade will bring inflation? Do you know what inflation is? Do you know why law runes will never be 1k each again? "People will once again be used to being called noob when they kill someone, and people will get used to the fact that immature kids, who heavily rely on the internet for entertainment, will come back to Runescape, ruining the relatively mature community we try to upkeep today." Everyone here on this forum relies on the internet for entertainment, so I guess we're all "immature"? If you play RuneScape, then it is for entertainment, because it is a GAME. Games are for entertainment. Does that mean you're immature? Also, the "mature community" we have today? Haha, you sound like Runescape is a Utopia. Well, would the re-release improve those aspects of the game in any way? No, they would simply worsen them. By the way, the remotely mature community I stated was a simple comparison between pre-2007 and now. Compared to then, we have a community of players that seem to have grown in maturity, as the players who ruined it for us were pkers. I understand that this was not the case for all players, but it was substantial enough to have an effect on the community. We all hove our opinions on the matter, and nothing you say will change that. Although you've pointed out the (major) flaws in my post, your opinion is your own, and so is mine. Here's to hoping that this argument ends here and now.

Personally, I like the way it is now. This may sound a little self centred, but there's no major inflation of items that affect me, and I have a sense of safety in the Wilderness, as revenant can never be as tactical as a human. The Grand Exchange maked getting items more convenient, and has centralised trading altogether, and without pkers, Jagex was able to make content for high levelled player, within the wilderness, and not take into consideration the potential of being killed by a player. As players are getting better and more tactical, the re-releaseof the wilderness will make it a heavy combat, noob ridden, lure susceptible hell hole of rants. People will once again be used to being called noob when they kill someone, and people will get used to the fact that immature kids, who heavily rely on the internet for entertainment, will come back to Runescape, ruining the relatively mature community we try to upkeep today. The re-release of free trade will cause heavy inflation with items. Rare items may be sold for prices higher than ever seen before, and it will become harder to find relatively useless items at a reasonable price. Since the common thread between players is that we all attempt to make profit, players will be forced to sell things at higher prices. Remember the days when law runes were 1k each? That'll be back. The only way to find these re-releases reasonable, is if you have the ability to be self sufficient, and acquire the items that may not be available to you through barter, and, be at a high level with tactical thinking. These skills are not what most players posess, and therefore, this should not appeal to the community. But for some reason, 90% of player believe that the re-release would be a great idea. Most just voting 'Yes', without a thought to the future of Runescape. [/opinion] Wew, I'm glad I got that out of my system. Now, time to continue questing and trying to keep from the Wilderness when the update comes, unless absolutely necessary.
