January 29, 200917 yr DFS more if you love hunting dragons, training slayer or farming hard hitting monsters, BGS if you love GWDing or just finishing off that slayer task. Personally I think both aren't worth it. If you're willing to buy one, save for SGS, or even AGS. Though the godswords are terribly slow to compensate for their tremendous attack, strength and prayer bonuses. Then take the DFS, its defense bonuses are very nice with a hefty strength bonus, but a rune defender has 2 less strength points but compensates with +20ish attack bonuses. 95/99 Summoning95/99 Slayer [hide=This is what you look like when you play RS too long][/hide]

January 29, 200917 yr You don't seem to have any purpose in mind for either of these, so you should probably buy somthign that would be useful o you... DFS is a luxury item, it's not necessary in any situation. Whereas you can't get a decent bandos team withotu a godsword, which will actuall have the potential to pay for itself over time. A DFS is not needed at all for slayer really. The only task where it really makes much of a difference is at skeletal wyverns. It's better to use an anti fire shield while ranging(don't mage dragons) because DFS has -5 range bonus, and unless you use the more dangerous methods you'll be praying against duradel's dragons(blacks, irons, steels, miths), so the defensive boost is useless. the 7 str bonus does help a bit, but it's not necessary. So for you, I would say neither, but for anyone who had more of a goal in ming I would advise that you get the sword.
