January 30, 200917 yr Hey I'm thinking about getting one of those "easy" 99 skills, so I can put those lovely red stripes on my strenght cape, and get that little prayer bonus from it. My first thought was 99 cooking, but then I'm not sure on how to go around this skill... I was thinking about getting 81 cooking, which is just 1 lvl away, and then use cooking gautles to cook swordfish since you stop burning those at 81, and this will give me a lose of 4.7m from 80-99. But then I just thought I heard that people get 99 cook, cheaper than that somehow.. So is this the right way to go, or is there a better way? :) Or maybe an easier/faster skill till 99? January 30, 200917 yr You can get 99 cooking with tunas and I believe that is the cheapest route. I lost about 5 or 6m on it (starting at 80) and doing lobsters until 94 and sharks until 99. If you ask me this is the best method since with the sharks I got from 94-99 in a matter of a week and little to no work. Other people do monks all the way to 99. Others do swordfish until 94 then sharks. I met 2 people content with cooking over 100k tunas for 99, while I was cooking. How much are you willing to spend really...? If you want a fast one that profits just do fletching and do yew long bows. Buy logs, buy strings. Cut and string. Rinse. Repeat. I am pretty sure I profited on this when I got 99 fletching as well. Apparently, my signature was to big.

January 30, 200917 yr I was thinking of going the monkfish route myself, but my cooking is already 94 at the moment. I am not sure what level you stop burning since I was 92 when I came back to p2p. Got a lot of experience on f2p with anchovy pizza and lobs. I do know I haven't burned any from 92 to 94. 99 cooking is not a real high priority for me, but I plan on getting it fairly soon. My plan was to catch about a third of the monks I would need, sell them, buy more with the money from that. Cook those and sell and buy raw till I get 99. It would be a small loss. At least I think it is a small loss. (opinions may vary) But faster than fishing them all myself and getting some well needed fishing experience since my fishing is only 88. Don't think that is the answer you were exactly looking for, but I thought I would throw it in the mix. Might possibly be a method you might be interested in applying.
