February 2, 200917 yr all are the doubled exp Harpoon ~22k exp Pickaxe ~15k exp Knife ~77k exp Axe ~37k exp Hammer ~64k for smithing, ~52k for construction Needle ~44k exp As for recharging, I think buying more tools is better since you don't have to run back to the place to recharge it.
