I need help removing this program that installed itself called Perfect Defender 2009. I'm surpriced it's letting me use the forums because somtimes a random pop up message will appear and it will take me to their main site and it won't let me do anything unless I buy the registered version. I'm literally typing this out on the swiftbrowse hoping I won't get a pop up and a rederection. Help please.

Wongton is better than me in anyway~~

It's clearly a fake antivirus/firewall or whatever it claims to be. It will keep identifying false positives and taking you to its site to try and coerce you into buying the premium version. You need to uninstall it.

Found this to add to what Sloter found.

Posting for Wizzkid via MSN:

I cannot acess the forums but my internet connection is not bad. I removed the Perfect Proctector but I keep getting this message (image that I will send you goes here) I'm on a limited account and in adminstrator.

on the limited account whenever the limited account tries to use Ie it says the internet is not connected but MSN works fine

I have a wifi connection for a laptop wich my sister owns

when the administer clicks on "click here to get full advance Real-time protection and continue browsing" that it just download Perfect Defender

and starts the whole damn loop again

Followed by an Image he sent me:

I manage to get back online by disconnecting the router and connecting it back, but the wifi connecting for the Laptop won't work. Perfect Defender 2009 is not here anymore and on this Limited account (me) seems to be working fine :/ I was able to use MSN but not IE so I knew that the Internet was working fine.

Panda(Internet Security) is back online (When Perfect Defender was in it literally blocked Panda's every move) Now the only problem is the Laptop, it won't use IE. The laptop also has Panda.

My sister is Administrator and owns her Laptop(wich she won't let me use), when she was using the Internet Earlier on this computer on her account (Admin) she went into google and got the image above. She clicked the green link and dowloaded Perfect Defender automatically (she was going to get on google).

Her Laptop though din't get infected by Perfect Defender, but now IE won't work and that Laptop does not have MSN.

When removed I did a full scan but Panda found nothing, Laptop is doing a full scan as we speak.

Wongton is better than me in anyway~~

I know I'm a bit late, but sloter your link is red in the WoT rating. Had found this, but I guess I'm too late: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/malware ... ender-2009

As for the IE issue, I can't think of anything atm, but will come back to you if you still have problems when I'm back from college later today.
