Sound Cards, which to choose?

Featured Replies

Hey everyone,

I recently purchased some digital mixing software, just cos i enjoying messing around with music and mixing my own music. Anyways, the sound card I have at the moment is pretty horrible, just wondering if anyone had any good suggestions as to what type/features i should be looking for as I have never really purchased this sort of thing before.

Keep in mind im not willing to spend a fortune, so nothing too professional is required, just something that will let me get the best use out of my software and come up with a reasonable result...

If none of that makes sense then let me know

If you have the money for 7.1 speakers it's not hard to find the speakers + 7.1 card for under 2-300 on ebay (Logitech speakers and Creative Audigy card)
