Fromfirst2Last1987 Posted February 9, 2009 Share Posted February 9, 2009 well to start i used a mccaw to kill chaos druids many times before for the increased herb drop. it works well. the problem i came across deals with the special herbcall. in the past i use to get herbs all the time from using this special. now i used about 40 scrolls without a single herb falling from the sky. it brings me to my question did jagex change the rate at which you get herbs from herbcall? i apologize if this is in the wrong forum please move it if it is Dragon Drops: 5 medium helmet, 3 left shield halfObby: Maul 1, Cape 1, Shield 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Randox Posted February 9, 2009 Share Posted February 9, 2009 You are better off just killing something with a high herb drop rate. Macaws do not increse herb drop rates, but they act like a specalised ultra powered ring of wealth towards any herbs dropped (almost all herb drops will be better). In a dungeon, I don't think you can even get herbs by scroll (unless your macaw can fly through solid rock). When killing things, it will ocasionaly forage herbs anyways, just not alot and not many good herbs. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
