Need suggestions on where to use my gold

Featured Replies

So I've been back to the game for a few months now, and I've raised many skills, completed many quests and so on.

The other day I was thinking about what I should use my money on - if I should just piss them all away on skills, or if there perhaps is some better armour and items or something? So I decided I'd listen to other peoples opinions.

I personally wear;

Neiti helm,

Glory necklace,

Whip,

Rune defender,

Dharok body

Dharok legs

Dragon boots,

Ring of Wealth

Obsidian cape,

and a Combat Bracelet

I have around 15 million to use on mainly better armour, and then skills (I do plan on getting Dragon Bones and get 70 Prayer for some of these money).

My skills are in my signature below. Hunting and Runecrafting are 18 and 22.

Thanks,

Don't see how spending money on skills is wasting them... But since you seem to take that attitude, you could buy a black mask and an amulet of fury and start slaying. That equipment should do fine, unless you want to complete Recipe For Disaster, or try for a Fire Cape. Armour like Bandos and the Dragonfire shield isn't really that useful, unless you're not blowing your entire bank on it.

You could raise your construction to 69 and get a gilded altar, which would make your prayer training much faster.

I suppose you could buy 99 cooking or fletching if you're looking for a cheaper obsidian cape.

Then just use whatever's left over to train herblore, farming, crafting - all those expensive, but strangely satisfying stats. Or, invest it in pure essence and profit while gaining runecrafting exp.

Not really sure why I'm giving financial advice, I spend most of my money on marble and golf leaf.

Nah, I don't think that spending money on skills is a waste - I just mean with the 'pissing' away is that they disappear SO fast, and I wanted to know if I could improve my armour first.

Buy a load of bronze knives and get your range up to at least 60 if not 70.

Buy a fury and a regen bracelet (slightly better then the addy gloves and doubles your health regain per minute [the natural healing]).

If you have charms already level summoning as it helps a hell of a lot with other skills as well as combat.

Get construction to aleast 48 (so you can tea to 50) for the portals.

Crafting to 55, so when you have enough slayer points you can create the helm.

Save or invest the rest until the above have been done.
