Runescape Console Game + other ideas for RS

Featured Replies

I think Jagex should make a console game for the PS2 or Xbox. They could make it online, and add better graphix than the computer game. They could also add estates and other things relating to that. You could buy a hut or a castle, a mote or a fence. You could buy furniture for your home, and make the beds sleepable in. They could heal health and buy garden patches. And they wouldn't only be p2p. It would make meeting with people alot easier. And if they had trouble adding land, they could make it like the Essence Mines, and put portals to a sort-of neighborhood.

Im not gonna get into the console thing...but its been suggested before and has always been shot down for various reasons. The other stuff you have suggested is basically POH (player owned houses) and jagex has said they will release that eventually...and they will also release carpentry which will involve making some of the stuff you described.

i would buy it, just to see it is.... but im sure not to many people would like it :?

Wouldn't work, no communication. You cant have voice communication, too much to listen to, and no keyboard. The only runescape console game would have to be a single player RPG. That would be kinda awesome really.

just flat out no to the MMORPG idea, i rather like the single player idea though

Yeah...I'll agree, single player would ROCK, and I would surely buy it.

However, an online console game...No.

No, on console there would be no communication apart from voice which would be sheer hell. Runescape just doesn't work as an online console game, we need to be able to type to other players for trading and general communication. Voice would have too many people talking all at once and quite frankly Runescape markets are bad enough as they are now on World 1

Well i don't know about the X-box or X-box 360 but, i do know that the ps2 does have a keyboard and mouse and i believe that if Jagex gets better servers and makes a consol game that they should have the game play the same or have a 1st person mode available to players, plus better graphics and new stuff.

Ok i just thought of the funniest thing that made me laugh right now. You know like in world 1 and 2, so many people talking at once i cant even keep up reading  now put all that talking in voice communication, Got the point?

Thanks for the replies, and I understand where your coming from, but think about it. How many people pay the monthly fee and go out and buy a network adaptor for their PS2? I know it would get pretty crazy, but it depends. Oh, and the single player thing would be awesome, but it would be cool to network the game to your house and have to people playing at once in the same house.

i was thinking the exact thing a ps2 with the keyboard(included in the package) would be great. I would defintly buy it and i think everyone in the runescape comunity( with a ps2) would also buy it.
