I see there is a fresh new attempt to lure you into a phishing site to steal your pass by posing as a Tip It request to get you to vote in a poll.

 

Can a Mod please check this out and make the other Tipit'ers aware of this new attempt.

Good on ya for reporting it, but you should try PM a mod or two with the details (quote of PM/username). Admins are reluctant on Tip.It to look at other people's e-mails unless it is of severe importance.

i was acutally tricked into this and hacked . my advice is not to click on any links through pm.

I'm pretty sure that the scammer you are referring to was banned last night. The best way to catch the admins' attention regarding such matters is to PM them yourself, or at least post the thread in Forum Updates & Suggestions, which is more related to forum matters. Help & Advice is more for RuneScape help so there is no guarantee that they will notice it here.

There's no need to create another message since the previous announcement is still a global announcement and can be seen at the top of every forum. But if you still feel it is necessary, you could try PMing an administrator, as I previously suggested.
