I use a whip at Slayer monsters, Dbaxe for players. And did you read the entire thread? I don't expect to beat people with higher levels than me, but when I'm not hitting people that are MY LEVEL OR LOWER, then we have a problem.

If the combat part of Soul Wars annoys you because you aren't hitting and killing the enemy why don't you try burying bones. You will still be being helpful to your team.

Well, to put it simply, you suck.

 

 

 

Level 86 is nothing. Repeat after me. Nothing.

 

 

 

Equal stats never work out in the end. If you want to hit more, get higher attack. Really, for PvP minigames, its like Attack > Defence > Strength. Really, wheres the point in being able to hit high if you can't hit, or if you have low defence and lower attack.

 

 

 

In short, your problem is you need to train.

 

 

 

 

 

No its more like Strength> Attack/Defense. Those two stats have very little use after level 70. You clearly have no understanding of purity.

 

 

 

I think attack might as well be re-named "Abyssal Whip Requirement" and defense might as well be re-named "Barrows Requirement". There is absolutely no reason to train those skills after level 70, unless you get 99 strength first. Strength is the all important stat as far as PVP is concerned.

Theres no point in high strength if you can't get a hit in.

I am really pissed off at Soul Wars right now. I tried to play it today for the first time, and man, got a big piss off. I'm level 86, so why the hell am I so goddam ineffective at this? It takes a lot of hours of playtime to get 86, and I can't even be of any assistance here! I'm just not hitting on people, and when I do, it's rarely anything worth mentioning, the best I've had was a 14 in SW, and that was LUCKY. RAGE!!!!

 

 

 

 

 

P.S. I'm not suggesting that anything should be changed about it, I'm just here to vent.

I'm level 76, and I can manage to kill loads of people.

 

 

 

Try using ranged, or ancients if melee doesn't do it for you, both more accurate than melee so you actually end up doing damage.

 

 

 

I think 86 is a perfectly decent level, everyone seems to think you need to be level 100 otherwise your a noob and should be ignored completely.

Theres no point in high strength if you can't get a hit in.

 

 

 

 

 

You can get a reasonable amount of hits in without high attack, beacuse everyone has low defense. The main thing is to hit very hard with a few good specs and get a few good hits in.

 

 

 

And on the occasion that someone has high def, they will be out of your combat range, or they will have pathetic strength and high attack too (which isn't useful in a game with so many low def players) because they trained with an abyssal whip. I have never encountered some who ignores Attack and only trains Defense and Strength, but that is the only scenario where a pure would be in trouble. That is the only way the combat level would be low enough. That would be very bizarre though, I have never seen an account like that in my life.

lol im the same but 101 cb!, i never go 4 anyone over lvl 90 because i know i will be just endlessly running hitting 0s

 

At your complaints of how you've spent SO much time training your account, and you're still inefficient, then really, don't play if you don't enjoy it, and get used to the fact that in RS you can't level up as fast or as easily (in certain situations) as in WoW.
