i lost ALOT of detail when i published it :( i had some sweet shading going on, anyone know how to fix that problem?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

EDIT: fa numba 2 hes dancing to the song 'we built this city' by ja. but since tip it dosnt allow flash animation u only get the crappy gif animation

thats an interesting one.

go to file>publish settings>flash tab ( I use MX and MX 2004) it might be slightly different on yours.

Make sure compress movie is UNCHECKED

 

 

 

increase the jpeg qualtity

 

 

 

save the settings republish ait and re upload

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Also when you publish to gif quality goes down no matter what, but this should increase it a bit.

I think it would be better if he you sped up the walk cycle and added more frames on that symbol in the main timeline. (I'm guessing that's how you would have it setup) This way, he looks like he is running really hard, but not moving very far. It will give it a more cartoony effect, I think, and be alot funnier.

Intresting one, but I cant see Azvareth, just Nadril running :lol:

im working on that cartoony look keiphus, and im also working on avrareth chasing him. and still with that help on publishing it still loses any trace of shading.

Just an idea..Make the background move instead of the stick figure. I am sure you get less work this way.

actually, before i had it posted i had both the bg and the stickman running, but i couldnt get the tree and house to come back without it being choppy.
