Seeing as I don't play the mini games and all I don't know to much about the Sacred Clay tools other than that they exist.

Seems to me you already know how many willows you can cut with one, right? 200? The experience is double with sacred clay axe right? If so, double the experience of 200 willow logs and get that number.

Figure out how much experience from your current level to 85 and divide that by the number you get from one axe and you have your number of axes needed.

There are better uses for your points than the hatchet. Taking into account the time needed to earn the points, the morphic hatchet provides slower experience than a dragon axe would if you'd spent the extra time doing more chopping instead of playing SC. However, with the actual minigame time behind you already, you'd achieve your goal sooner with morphic hatchets...it's just that those points would probably have been better spent on, say, hammers.

Of course at this point it's too late to go back and use a dragon axe instead of playing SC, since you already got the points. With that in mind, you can feel fine about spending them on hatchets if that's what you want.

Personally, I would invest alot of your points into Volatile Knife's (hope to get one anyway). They'll double your fletch xp, which means you'll get 50% more xp than normal for a complete bow (it only doubles the cutting xp, not the stringing). Anyway, I got a Clay Axe, but didn't find it was really worth using... but I was cutting Magic Logs at the time. 500xp per log, so it didn't last as long as if I woulda cut something different, but still. Unless you just have nothing else to spend your points on, I wouldn't bother.

I got 87 Woodcut rather easily. From 78 - 80, work on Yew Trees, maybe even until 81 or 82, then go to Magic Trees. They are slow, but worth almost 1300gp each, so you get xp + money per log.. and really, after a while, you don't notice that it goes too much slower.

I would actually advise against using points on knives :ohnoes: Fletching is already very fast and profitable. It would be quicker to just spend time fletching rather than playing SC. Really the only thing worth spending SC points on are hammers for smithing and construction, like troacctid mentioned. And maybe picks for mining and needles for crafting. Anything else just isn't worth it because your time would be better spent training the actual skill, instead of playing SC.
