Muggis forum guide does the same thing.

I think it has to do with your browser or a browser plug-in. A search of these forums might help you...

Yeah, it could be your browser, what are you using? Because if it doesn't come out as that for others it will be your computer.

What's Runescape?

Assuming you're using firefox, go to tools, add-ons, and disable the skype add-on. That should solve the problem. If you actually use Skype for calling people, then you'll have to re-enable it after you're done with the guide by following the steps above, but clicking enable instead of disable.

I use internet explorer.

Thought it was the guides, showed 2 friends and both of them saw the same thing. O well.

Went through the pain of opening IE to check the steps for fixing this problem, and they're basically the same. Go to tools, Add-ons, Enable and disanble add-ons and disable Skype. repeat to re-enable.

The problem is definitely Skype-only. If you have a friend without Skype, ask them. They would not have the same problem with the guides. ;)

Bluehooloovo has your solution, but you might also try:

Open Skype

Click Tools

Click Options

Click the Advanced tab

Uncheck the box that says "Associate Skype with callto: links on the web"

That should solve problems with Internet Explorer and Mozilla and other browsers.
