August 3, 200520 yr Sup yall, I was just wondering does anyone produce music? I produce music on my computer using programs named fruityloops and FL Studio. I'd say the genre my musicals fall in are rap and hip-hop but I must say I sample from all kinds of music like old-school mixes of rap and r&b, jazz, some elements from rock, a lil bit of techno, and my own skills. If anyone of you know the Neptunes ( big-time music producers ) they have a very super original style. If you've never heard of then then you should if you are a music fan of all types. Please share some news with me, if you produce music and you think you have a original style feel free to post and share ideas and thoughts. I'm always ears to learn about new music and it's o'so wonderful sounds. -Tg-
August 4, 200520 yr My friend is trying to use FL/fruity loops to make beats or whatever he called them. He tried showing me how to use it, but I wasn't really paying attention lol. I plan on trying it out in later though
August 4, 200520 yr Author Hey it's a powerful program if you know how to use it, not just any ol'person can get to working on it right away. I must say I've progress majorly since I've had and now I near my peak of electronic producing, hopefully in the future i'll be in the studio producing songs for my groups next album 8)
August 4, 200520 yr I used eJay about 5 years ago :( Please dont hurt me. lol But theres a certain guy on these forums which is REALLY good at dance and chillout music. I'll let him come forward if he wants to tho, I dont want to drop him in anything hehe. Got any samples of your work? I hate Rap and Hiphop with a passion but it would be good to hear what original pieces you have composed. Mercifull <3 Suzi "We don't want players to be able to buy their way to success in RuneScape. August 4, 200520 yr I have eJay dance 5 right here infront of me. Pretty generic but I can bang out a good tune or two. Despite my hate for techno. This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you.
August 4, 200520 yr I like the Neptunes, they got their own stuff going on, that's always appreciated! My musical production skills don't go any further than sing on the mic and upload it on the internet and sing under the shower. August 4, 200520 yr Author hey that's pretty well put together man 8) and me I haven't learned a musical note a day in my life  It's all based on "if it sounds good" lol but I must say I've progressed from my younger years and I still need improvement to make a full track worthy:D but ima search around and see if I can find some host to put my samples on, do anyone of you know any? Neptunes, I can't mess with'em they are too damn good. I'd like to be original in my own way If I make it to be a big music producer. and what is reason? tell me where I can get it please, I'm always heads up for new programs to make songs on.
August 4, 200520 yr Reason costs about $300 or something i think. Comes on 3 cds and its well worth the money :) should be able to get it from any production based stores
August 4, 200520 yr Author Aw mayne! I've gotta try it out somehow are there any sample trial programs? and do you know music as in actual music notes? because I'm clueless I just go by what I know and sounds good.
