How important is magic defense? Ok so heres my thoughts on the gear: Slayer helmet Fury God Cloak (For the extra magic defense and prayer bonus) DFS + Whip Bandos Chest Bandos Tassets Dragon Gloves, Berserker Ring Dragon Boots Am I way off? (Whip still better on lower level dragons.) Drops: Misc: Abyssal Whip x28 , Dark Bow x5, Beserker Ring x3, Warrior ring x1 Dragon: Dragon Platelegs x2 , Dragon Plateskirt x2, Dragon Boots x38, Dragon Med Helm x4, Shield left half x3 Godwars: Godsword shard x13, Bandos Hilt x3, Bandos Chestplate x6, Bandos Tassets x4, Bandos Boots x5, Saradomin Sword x1, Zamorakian Spear x1,. AlexDT Posted February 24, 2009 Share Posted February 24, 2009 I'd advise using proselyte top and bottom over karil - partly because it's cheaper if you die, but mostly because higher mage defence doesn't seem to have much effect on the KBD's attacks. Phrost Posted February 24, 2009 Author Share Posted February 24, 2009 I've done about 8 trips now alltogether, all with proselyte, and I'm averaging about 10 kills per inventory. I'm switching from berserker ring to ROW now. Oh and, my second ever solo kill was kbd heads, how about that :thumbsup: Anyway, I was wondering about the ranged method.. Am I high enough range?
