February 23, 200917 yr I'm going to solo kbd as I'm bored with slayer for tonight and I got black dragons as my slayer task. So, what's the best gear and inventory for soloing kbd. I'm gonna use war tortoise btw.

Ok so heres my thoughts on the gear: Slayer helmet Fury God Cloak (For the extra magic defense and prayer bonus) DFS + Whip Bandos Chest Bandos Tassets Dragon Gloves, Berserker Ring Dragon Boots Am I way off?
February 24, 200917 yr Switch to Karils for top and bottom, use Leaf bladed if you have it, it's good for dragons overall. (Whip still better on lower level dragons.) Drops: Misc: Abyssal Whip x28 , Dark Bow x5, Beserker Ring x3, Warrior ring x1 Dragon: Dragon Platelegs x2 , Dragon Plateskirt x2, Dragon Boots x38, Dragon Med Helm x4, Shield left half x3 Godwars: Godsword shard x13, Bandos Hilt x3, Bandos Chestplate x6, Bandos Tassets x4, Bandos Boots x5, Saradomin Sword x1, Zamorakian Spear x1,. February 24, 200917 yr I'd advise using proselyte top and bottom over karil - partly because it's cheaper if you die, but mostly because higher mage defence doesn't seem to have much effect on the KBD's attacks. My trips have lasted much longer in proselyte, and I know that a few other KBD hunters agree.

February 24, 200917 yr Author I've done about 8 trips now alltogether, all with proselyte, and I'm averaging about 10 kills per inventory. I'm switching from berserker ring to ROW now. Oh and, my second ever solo kill was kbd heads, how about that :thumbsup: Anyway, I was wondering about the ranged method.. Am I high enough range? I'd use Ruby and Diamond enchanted bolts of course

February 25, 200917 yr You have to melee. At 76 ranged it was hard to duo. (I understand yours is higher and you have higher def but...) Thoroughly retired, may still write now and again
