ok im going to use 5 sc hammer to get from 63 to 69 smithing(i've already worked out that i need that many hammers)but im not sure what i should smith to get as little loss as possible??i know you can profit from cannon balls but i dont have the time to get that and im willing to lose some money but i would perfer not to lost more than 1.5m(i only have 3.3m to start)

Blast furnace isn't really a mini-game. It's just unnote coal and mith, dump in furnace, help out on spots if needed, smith, repeat. With current prices, you'll actually make some money too if you make mith bolts. You'll also need to smith less since you get the smelting exp.

 

 

 

However, if you really despise blast furnace, you could make iron knives, you'll lose about 300k.

I recently super heated 63-70 smithing with mith bars. I did it mainly for the mage exp but figured id get 70 smithing for free along the way as well. est costs are less then 1 gp/exp (for mage, smithing comes free with it) and 60k mage 33k smithing exp an hour. not the fastest for pure smith, but 93k overall exp is quite decent

 

 

 

just do like 2-3k bars a day max to not get bored and quit

I personally smithed iron knives from 55-70 smithing. If you smelt iron off the GE (with ring of forging) you make a slight profit. However I found it more worthwhile to just buy the iron bars and make them into iron knives. Afterwards I just made the money back in the time I saved and got more xp. (Runecrafting ftw)

As F2P, I made steel bars for ridiculous amounts of time, and made 4 mil.

as i stated in my first post i dont have the time to do cannonballs as it would take me a long time to smith the amount i need to get 69 smith. I've tried blast furnace as i find it really hard to do solo and even on a team its kind of slow so i was looking for another way. im currently looking at knifes. i have also looked into making plates but if i buy the bars ill lose around 1.4m from it

have you tried w58? blast furnace is if you want to make a bit of money and level up smithing at the same time. It's not as fast as running from varrock west to the anvils and it is very frustrating there lol (smithed there 60-80). I forgot to say that in my first post but never make cannonballs since you could probably earn more killing chickens. Since you want it quickly, go smith iron knives.

its hard to do 1100 bars per hour :P you actually HAVE to pay attention but i did 66-77 mage (78 was from addy bars :P)

 

and 50-70 smithing off mith bars its great smith and mage xp smithing mith bars into really anything is just a waste because probably only platelegs and platebody are not sold for min/mid (same number due to flooding)

since i already spend the time at sc getting the 5 hammers im going to use them to smith iron knifes i suppose
