February 26, 200917 yr What's the fastest range exp F2P? Monster? Bow? Arrow type? Right now, I'm ranging the hobgoblins by the crafting guild using a maple short bow and iron arrows. Edit Is there any difference between iron and bronze arrows? That being damage and durability (broken arrows.) 100% F2P99 Defense, Tuesday February 10th 200999 Attack, Tuesday May 26th 200962,189th to get it
February 26, 200917 yr Fastest xp I have tested are the level 30 zombies in the SoS. Hobgoblins might be faster though; but I haven't tested it. Ah, this reminds me about the noob on the Runescape forums who was upset with the quest "Cold War" because apparently his grandparents died in the war. :wall:
February 27, 200917 yr id say you could go up to steel and maybe mithril arrows without it hurting too badly(unless across stream in which case no recollect might hurt it. Orthodoxy is unconciousnessthe only ones who should kill are those who are prepared to be killed.

At his 99 defence he could tank them no problem with green d'hide and a leather coif lol. No need for the stream. February 27, 200917 yr llamster, I am assuming that the lv 30 zombies are faster than lesser, but what is an aproximate exp rate. atm I am getting close to 25k exp per hour ranging lessers(89range). [hide=stats][/hide]
February 27, 200917 yr Stick with the stronghold of security kill zombies lvl 30 OR well once you advance a higher level in range go to the giant spiders in SoS (they are on the 3rd floor). But then again you can always hog giants but those will take longer. I used iron arrows all the way from 52 - 99 and I saw no problem with it. Seeing that you have 99 def I doubt the spiders would hit you but if you want go with rune helm, rune legs and a green d hide top so you won't have to go bank for food. Hope that helped.

I got 22k range xp an hour there at 60 range; for you it would be significantly faster. But ankous are almost certainly better xp than lessers (more spawns and less competition) and perhaps comparable to zombies, making them superior overall due to their better drops. Using iron arrows at zombies is foolish considering that the steel arrows that the zombies drop come very close to compensating the steel arrows that you use up (this is with a range level in the low 60s; at a higher level you will break even), and that all arrows but adamant are hard to sell on the GE. Besides, steel and mith are both very cheap as long as you pick them up. February 27, 200917 yr Monster: Lesser Demon Bow: Maple Shortbow Arrow type: Steel Thats basically it. At a higher level you can move on to Ankous.
February 28, 200917 yr Author So right now I'm ranging hobgoblins next to the crafting guild. Is there a big difference between iron and bronze arrows? I'm thinking of downgrading to save some money. 100% F2P99 Defense, Tuesday February 10th 200999 Attack, Tuesday May 26th 200962,189th to get it
