wat is the point of a pure? anyone with balanced stats could own them.... and y spend all that other time on another account doesnt make sense to me :wall:

if you plan on a lot of pvp or bh (for crater requirements), then they are worth the time i guess

 

rather have one main with all effort going into all stats 99 though :

i am hoping in few years if i still play to get most skills really high,

 

and some people want massive range/mage levels, while keeping combat relatively low for lower level crater in bh, to maximize kill efficiency

Before it was because lower levels could use higher level'd wepons and basically dominate anyone who had lower stats then them. Now that PvP is the main form of pking, defense really shows its use when you are getting pj'd and whatnot.

 

 

 

Being a pure does have their disadvantages and advantages. Also what he meant by "going for 99s" was why would you have 2 accounts with 6.5mil worth of exp (lvl 92) when you could of just focused on one account and gotten 99, instead of wasting time on other accounts.

when the wild was still alive, there used to be many types of pures...

 

 

 

you had the f2p low leveled pures, all with skills such as strength, range and mage in the 40s.

 

 

 

then you had the p2p pures which were commonly maxed out (99) in 1 or more skills. prodominently strength, range and mage.

 

 

 

the main strength of a pure was that because their primary skill was so high, therefore very effective, combined with a very low defence level, was that their combat level was off the same with someone with balanced skills.

 

 

 

this differed in 'staking' pures where their attack and defence was always very high.

And they can also have some pretty good hp levels which makes some pures pretty good.
