ThurinEthir
Dizzle, it most likely was simply a map of Tolkien's Middle Earth. ;) As for what adventures I could actually have, the good ole "get-away-from-civilization-become-a-wanderer-in-the-woods" thing is good enough for me. rushrock
Nice map. Middle Earth is a lot bigger than I thought it was. I just got over the Hobbit, and read all about the lands beyond the edge of the wild.
i_love_burritos
I love adventuring. Dizzle, it most likely was simply a map of Tolkien's Middle Earth. ;) As for what adventures I could actually have, the good ole "get-away-from-civilization-become-a-wanderer-in-the-woods" thing is good enough for me. Yeah, I like them too. I like that sense of lost?ness yet being independent at the same time.
warri0r45
So, what I'm trying to say is, do you guys wish you lived in another age? Where adventure was commonplace and easy to reach? Commonplace? I hardly think so. Most people weren't adventurers back then, just the same as today. The only difference is that today, our adventure consists of going to the moon, sending probes to mars and discovering other extra-solar planets. Although I think it would have been interesting to adventure as people like Columbus did, I think it's just as interesting, if not more interesting, to go looking for new planets and trying to land on them. firanzo1
I'd love to be in an age where you start having kids at 14 and go conquering other nations by 18.
